HYPCO & M.P.C.
Since the Lebanese Government allowed the private sector to import Mogas and Gasoil for local distribution, business for independents such as Mediterranean Petroleum Company (M.P.C) and Hydrocarbon Products Company, Hypco, was greatly facilitated.
These companies are part of B.B. HOLDINGS S.A.L and operate independently from each other. Both are well established in Lebanon and continue to grow.
Since 1991, Hypco started a plan to rebuild its distribution network of service stations and today have a network of service stations, geographically spread across the country, covering 12% of the market. In addition to operating its network of stations, Hypco is the appointed distributors of Shell Lubricants in Lebanon.
M.P.C. owns a products storage terminal of 30,000 cubic meters capacity and its main business operations are centered on bulk imports of gasoline for storage and further sale to other local distribution companies.
