BB Energy USA Announces New Managing Director and Regional Head of Trading
BB Energy USA is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Garcia as the new Managing Director USA and Regional Head of Trading (Crude and Fuel Oil).

Joe joins BB Energy with over 20 years of experience in Crude and Fuel Oil Trading, most recently serving as Global Head of Light Crude Trading at Suncor. His extensive experience also includes senior trading positions at Hartree Partners LP, Mercuria, and BP.
In his new role, Joe Garcia will report directly to BB Energy CEO, Mohamed Bassatne, and will be responsible for driving BB Energy USA’s ambitious growth plans. His leadership will be instrumental in advancing the company’s strategic objectives in the region.

As BB Energy welcomes Joe Garcia, the company also confirms the retirement of Vitor Bruno. Vitor has been an invaluable member of the BB Energy USA team since the business was established in 2016. His contributions have been critical to the success of the company, and he leaves behind a strong legacy on which the team will continue to build.

Joe Garcia will officially join the team on September 30 and will be based in the Houston office.
