Two of our subsidiaries BB Energy Suisse SA and Storm Energy are based in Geneva, Switzerland. BB Energy Suisse is an established trader of Base Oil with a substantial international client base, especially in Africa. Storm Energy is an oil distribution business active in Zambia, Zimbabwe and the DRC. Storm mainly distributes gasoline and gasoil in these markets.
BB Energy Suisse offers its customers Group I, II and III paraffinic & naphthenic base oils and waxes. Our products are sourced in the most effective way to secure any of our customers requirements. Our trading team relies on vast experience gained in different fields of refining, shipping, distribution, finished lubricants and blending.
Our customer base ranges from major oil companies to independent blending companies while BB Energy Suisse has established strong relationships with local distributors globally. BB Energy Suisse has access to all major GI/II/III base oil producers ensuring it can meet all requirements for any sort of base oil needs.
History
Trading as Feedco SA until 2025 BB Energy Suisse was initially established in 1987. The initial main activities consisted of purchase and sales of crude oil, feedstock, fuel oils, distillates and specialty chemicals. It’s focus into base oil as its main product started during 1993.
For over 30 years, Feedco SA established itself as one of the largest independent trading organisations active in base oil supply. Throughout this period, storage & distribution networks have been developed. Furthermore a leading supply role was established in main markets as NW Europe, Africa , India, UAE, China and the Americas.
During 2016, Feedco SA became a part of BB Energy, which allowed it’s Management Team to maintain their vision & continue their growth and presence within the base oil industry.
Today a global team of 15 dedicated people manage all commercial, operational & accounting responsibilities.
Shipping & Logistics
The know how and experience of our shipping and logistics team contributes substantial value to it’s customers supply chain.
Our chartering team liaises very closely with all major tanker operators and leading shipbrokers. While focus remains on freight optimalization, the team ensures to safeguard strict quality control and compliance with International Maritime Organisation’s rules and regulations.
Distribution
Our base oil storage facilities are strategically located in Riga Latvia, Eastham UK and Rotterdam The Netherlands which allow easy access to G I / III base oils meeting the demand of a wide network of local customers.
