BB Energy is committed to robust corporate governance. Our Board has ultimate responsibility for governance risk mitigation and our Compliance Committee is primarily responsible for the maintenance, implementation and monitoring of Compliance Policies across the Group. These policies and processes ensure BB Energy fully complies with all national and international laws and regulations, including:

- Sanctions Compliance,
- Data Protection,
- Modern Slavery.

Compliance Training
Mandatory learning modules are assigned, covering all employees globally, with defined completion deadlines and automated tracking. Training delivery is being updated in 2026 to put more focus on in-person, tailored training. Completion status is monitored by the compliance, and escalation procedures are in place for overdue training. Attendance and completion records are maintained for audit purposes.
BB Energy is extending its compliance program to cover relevant external agents and intermediaries. A formal training module specifically tailored to this aim is currently being developed and is targeted to be launched by Q2 2026. Delivery will be virtual to ensure global coverage, and completion certification will be required and monitored.
Counterparty KYC and Automated Screening
BB Energy’s KYC process includes Automated, risk-based counterparty screening uses Refinitiv World-Check for ongoing monitoring, PEP screening, sanctions checks, and adverse media alerts. We have recently strengthened our KYC process by training staff to assess risk deeply and consistently, conducting more detailed checks on counterparties.
