Trading house BB Energy, Fiamma 2000 to build LNG terminal in Italy – Reuters News
LONDON, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Trading house BB Energy has signed a contract with Italy's Fiamma 2000to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Sardinia, Italy, a spokesman for BB Energy said on Tuesday.

The companies aim to complete the terminal located in Olbia by 2023 and, once complete, the terminal will be BB Energy’s first physical LNG asset.
“The terminal will serve the Sardinian market as well as ship bunkering. The capacity will be 40,000 to 80,000 cubic metres and will include a regasification plant,” BB Energy Chairman Baha Bassatne told Reuters.
Fiamma 2000 is a major liquefied petroleum gas distributor in Italy.
Privately-held BB Energy, which was founded in Lebanon and has its main trading office in London, has expanded rapidly in the past decade.
